okay. so i use those playtex sport tampons...
this is the second period ive used tampons.
when i pull it out, it hurts, and i do know its suppose too. it doesnt hurt when i put the plastic applicator in, it just hurts when i push on the plunger to insert the tampon. and then it stings a little while afterwards.
is this normal.? i am a virgin...if that helps.

you may be trying to push it against your pubic bone. i still do it sometimes and it does hurt. try angleing it differently next time and go slow.Health Question & Answer
