That sounds a lot like polycystic ovary syndrome.

you should check out www.webmd.com and search polycysitc ovary syndrome (otherwise known as PCOS)

Read some of the symptoms and if you feel they apply to you, see your doctor. They will run some blood tests and then possibly do an ultrasound of your ovaries.

The sooner you detect problems like this the easier they are to treat, so i would see your doctor as soon as you can.Health Question & Answer

When you're under 21 or so, your period can be highly irregular. I remember being 15, not sexually active and convinced that I had somehow been tricked into having sex and got pregnant because my period was 3 months late.

Sometimes things like this just happen. If you're really stressed out or you have gained/lost a lot of weight recently, that could be the explanation.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. It's normal for someone under 21 or so. Health Question & Answer

This is completely normal. During your teenage years, your body goes through an incredible amount of hormone changes. This is why your cycles can get a little messed up. It can take awhile for the hormones to regulate. Health Question & Answer
