so my mom got 10 shaving blades - she doesnt shave - that are the "BIC" brand and i asked her if i could use them (btw, i havent reached puberty yet and I'm turnin 12 this janaury and in 7th grade). She said NO. But, she also said that in a 2 years when i reach puberty, then i can WAX! that made me sooooo happy. But, should i sneak shave.? I really need too. The razors are right in the bathroom in the cabinet. I can just go pick it up and >ZIP< gone! but, i don't want my mom not to trust me. I have SUPER HAIRY LEGS...and after i got into 6th grade i kinda stopped wearing short pants (up to my knees). Now, I RARELY wear anything shorter than between my ankles and knees. Since it's almost winter, I have time to decide whether i should sneak or not. Should i.?Health Question & Answer

When I was younger, I shaved my legs w/o permission and i regretted it and my mom was upset that i didn't ask her first.
What you really should do is tell your mom how uncomfortable you are w/ your hairy legs. Tell her that you don't wear short pants, etc... She should be understanding and let you shave if you convey your feelings in a mature and persuasive way.

I wouldn't sneak it if I were you. Since winter is coming you won't be wearing shorts anyways - wait until summer and then try talking to your mom again. Show her your hairy legs and tell her you'll respect her wishes, but the hair is causing you major embarrassment and trauma, and couldn't you start shaving now.? ask her about nair i used it and my mom saw how much more confident i was while wereing shorts and in a year after using nair she let me shave now im in collage and shave each night XD and do not try to rush puberty so you can shave it SUCKS!Health Question & Answer
