A question about the menstrual cycle?!

Question: A question about the menstrual cycle.?
Okay, I started my period for the FIRST time on August 12th this year and it lasted I think three days. I THINK because I wasn't bleeding or anything, but I still had cramps. The second time I got it, it lasted a day and was a week early. I got it again about two weeks early, and I had to wear a pad, but that was the only time I did. I haven't really GOTTEN it, though. I don't need to wear a pad or ANYTHING. I just spot a little, and ONLY when I go to the bathroom. Is it like this because I just started and it's irregular.? Will it get get more regular.? If it helps, I'm thirteen years old.Health Question & Answer

Some girls are lucky and their first few periods are really light and can get away with liners. One day your hormones will kick into top gear and you will get the full on blood and need full size pads etc...

Its normal and you are fine. They will turn into mature periods as soon as your hormones get regulated...it may take months or years to happen...Health Question & Answer

That's pretty normal, you will start having a normal period pretty soon. It might last 5 days and you will need a pad every couple of hours, but you will still be irregular for a year or more. Then you get to have your period for the next 40 years. Isn't that grand.?Health Question & Answer
