Late period, neg pregnancy tests, what is going on?!

Question: Late period, neg pregnancy tests, what is going on.?
I am 35 and I do have children (so my doctor says I can't have pcos), but in the last 12 months or so (a year after my last injection of depo provera) my periods have been much lighter and frequently irregular. The first doctor I saw said I might be going through menopause, but tests were normal (diabetes, thyroid, estrogens, LH &FSH). The next doctor said it is probably just one of those things, especially since I am a little overweight (Just less than obese BMI) but I am really worried because this does not 'feel' right. The only other time I have felt things were 'wrong' I collapsed with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy after repeated fruitless trips to the GP. Does anyone have any advice.? Should I go back again.? I am finding it terribly embarassing to see the GP and be treated like a timewaster.

No matter what - You should never be embarrassed about visiting your GP or doctor. Because they are there to help you, not just throw you out with some simple medication that just doesn't do anything whatsoever. From what I hear, you could either had a reaction to the depo provera injection, which can take ages to regulate your periods back to normal, or you may also be Anemic. So see another doctor for a second opinion. Don't sit in silence, you deserve to get help as soon as possible and get this sorted once and for all. xHealth Question & Answer

might be because of a change in diet, if you've started to eat more/less, or started with more exercise, then it can change the cycle. especially when you don't eat enough.Health Question & Answer

Go and see another doctor, in another place, You need a second opinion. You are too young to mini pose. Maybe your last injection has an effect in your body system. Don't take a risk. Health Question & Answer

i take depo and never get my period...that's what happens when you take depo. didn't the doctor tell you this.?Health Question & Answer

Maybe, You Are Pregnant Go And Do Another Pregnancy Test, Some Pregnancy Test Don't Show Up Straight Away, Dont Be Embarassed To Go To Your GP Its His Job To Make Sure Your Ok And You Understand Everything, Maybe You Should Explain All Your Feelings To Him And Tell Him Your Worried. You Could Be Going Through The Change Some People Do It Earlier Than Others, If You Go Really Hot And Sweat All The Time Then You Are More Than Likely To Be Going Through That, I Hope I Have Helped A Little Bit, If I Havn't Than Dont Be Scared Too See Your Doctor Thanks xx, Hope Everything Goes Well For You! xHealth Question & Answer
