Can someone please explain to my husband why periods make us women feel so exhausted?!

Question: Can someone please explain to my husband why periods make us women feel so exhausted.?
My husband and I are fighting really bad right now. I just came back from his country abroad for 5 days of humidity, non stop traveling, and a cranky toddler who didn't want to be held my anyone but me because she has an ear infection. AND I am on my period. Its really bad, I just got it two weeks ago and now its back. (Its very irregular due to stress and my meds) ANYWAYS

We are fighting because he says I am a "Lazy Bithc Baastard" because my period is bad this time and all I have been wanting to do is sleep. I just came back from his country 2 days ago, and he has been alone in our house with his buddy free to do whatever he wanted - sleep in, not deal with me or my daughter. Well I have been so tired and so sleepy and felt so drained of all energy and been napping and laying down alot. Well I keep getting mad at him because he thinks I am just being lazy. I try to explain that my period makes me feel so drained and sleepy but he thinks I am just being lazy. He even said to me, "Why don't you practice putting our daughter to sleep since you can't even do it.?" (I wanted to just lay down.) My reply was, "I HAVE BEEN DOING IT ALL 5 DAYS I WAS IN YOUR COUNTRY SO WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.?"

And this isn't about my period but does he have a right to get mad at me for this.? And shouldn't he feel like I deserve to lay around for a while considering I was in his country stressing out from our daughter and all he did was chill at home while was gone - sleeping in, not dealing with my daughter or me.?Health Question & Answer

There are multiple reasons, one is anemia if you are bleeding a lot. You lose iron in the blood and it makes you feel weak and tired.

Another reason is the pain and muscle spasms, dealing with both of those can make you feel fatigued.

Another reason is just the hormonal changes, during that time your hormones are changing so much that your body will react.Health Question & Answer

This is nothing to do with your period. This is due to you being married to an a hole.

If you are ill from your period that is no different to being ill from the cold or food poisoning or whatever. The fact that he is shouting at you when you are sick really says something about the kind of man he is.

You sound like you're just sounding off about his bad behaviour in general, so I would try to get you two some counselling and work the issues out, otherwise dump him. Lets face it, you're doing it all anyway aren't you .?

But i'm kind of curious, why do you keep saying 'your country' what country was it.? Do you not like
