I heard it can the first couple times.
My first time didn't hurt at all. It didn't really feel good either lol
But after that it only started to get better and better.
The only time I've ever really been hurt was with my husband and some how he got really high up inside. It didn't last the whole session though, alot of it can do with what position your in.
If it does hurt, make sure you are lubricated. A women can have difficulty producing her own natural lubricant, or enough of it, so buying some can make it much easier. There is less friction.
