All birth controls have about the same risks. They can cause weight gain but no everyone experiences that. And not everyone expereinces serious problems. I generally like the Nuva Ring, it is not something you have to take daily and it you only have to have 1 at a time, the one you are using so you dont have to worry about hiding it. There are many planned parenthood places around that offer birth control and exams for teenagers, I would check to see if you have a planned parenthood place and call for an appointment.Health Question & Answer
Unfortunately all birth control is going to come with some risk. But if you explain to your doctor why you are wanting it, then he will be able to recommend one that is just right for you. I know you said your parents were a problem, but I would try and talk to them. If that doesn't work then I would be looking for alternative medicine that would help my face.:) Health Question & Answer
