I have a problem since 3 years ago.?!


Question: I have a problem since 3 years ago..?
3 years ago i got fat. After realizing that i told to myself: "Starting tommorow you're on a diet!!", and the funny thing is that i keep telling that line since then. When im alone at my house, after eating the whole food of my house, i feel like i am ready for diet. I start the morning good, eating a fruit, milk and a slice of bread, i am sure about myself. But when i go to work, being with people, i have this inferior feeling and the next thing is that i feel bad. I wanna change but i wanna change right now. When i eat, i forget all of my problems and for a few minutes at least i feel confident. Diet is something you have to do for months. I can't find the way, and i cant motivated.

I rememeber about when i was thin, i was watching many fat people, saying the same thing as me now, and then i laughed and said "oh my gosh just stop eating, cant seem to be that hard!"

Dieting is a life style change. Its so hard get off the weight, believe me I know, I do the same thing every day! I got mad at myself cause I had a scoop of icecream last night while at the mall!... but I think if you just eat in moderation and exercise daily, it doesnt necessairly mean you have to go and join the gym go for 1/2 walk to start. Something out light and than once you see yourself loosing a couple of pounds you will feel more motivated. As well contact a support group theres a lot of online weight management support groups out there that can help you, so when you are feeling stress and you want to eat just go online and talk to someone. But if your not motivated than you cant do it, you just have to keep that in mind. One thing that helps me is I took the fatest picture of myself and put on my fridge so ever time I want to eat and eat I go and look at that picture and remember that I dont ever want to be that way again. There may be an underlying emotional issue to your overeating. After you have tried the following advice and stuck with for a month and more and start to see results then there probably is not an emotinal issue.
But in case that's not the reason I would recommend having a very big healthy filling breakfast to set you up for the day. I think you are starving yourself by eating only fruits and little carbs during the day that by night you can't control your hunger andymore and you binge. Then have large salads and only salads (add kidney beans, hard boiled eggs, bacon bits, cheese crumbles, dried cranberries) for lunch and maybe a light supper and DO NOT eat after 6pm.

Keep a food diary of ALL the foods and amounts you eat during the day and what time.

also, try walking briskly 3-4 times a week, find a friend to do this with.Health Question & Answer
