Can not having sex make you unhealthy?!

Question: Can not having sex make you unhealthy.?
I mean obviously when you are over 18.

I haven't slept with anyone for about 9 months because I don't want to do one night stands, but I just feel terrible all the time.

I felt really healthy when I was having sex and now I feel like a physical and emotional wreck.

Could it actually be having a bad effect on my health.?

Maybe Marvin Gaye was right when he sang Sexual Healing - I think it's actually good medicine and he was onto something.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
There is actually many medical benefits to having a healthy sex life.
The benefits are actually well elaborated on WebMD.Com and are as follows:
-Stress Relief
-Boost Immunity to illnesses
-Burns Calories
-Improves heart health
-Reduces pain
-Strengthen Pelvic floor muscles
and a healthy sex life can help you sleep better.
Therefore, if you were having a healthy sex life and experiencing pleasure, then you could be feeling worse due to your lack of it now. Health Question & Answer

Yes. Eventually, you'll start to shrivel up and dry up and after about 12 months you'll be branded an old maid. Therefore, you might as well start looking in to adopting a cat or two now.

I think it's more psychological and what society tells us is "good" and "right". My husband and I were celibate before marriage and we were both relatively healthy. (However, looking back and what I ate and how I took care of myself, I wondered how I even stayed alive, save for the grace of God.) For the past 13.5 months our daughter has slept in the same room with us. (At first it was for convenience. We thought it would be good for all if she was in the same room with us, but in her own bed [I would have preferred co-sleeping, but my husband wasn't for it]. Eventually, we just didn't get the spare room cleaned out and we were going to move anyway. Then we moved in with our in-laws' and the three of us still share a room.) Even with living with the in-laws' leaves no time for us to be us. Yet, we're both healthy (relatively so; My husband still eats things that I no longer consider food, but that's a different topic) and neither of us has shriveled up.

Overall, it's the relationship you have with the person. My husband was the only boyfriend with whom I was celibate. My husband was the only boyfriend I seriously considered marrying. Ten and a half years since our first date, the relationship part is still strong and even stronger. That's the important thing.

Oh, yeah. I think it's great that you don't do one night stands. I did that a few times when I was younger and it's not a good thing exposing myself to a near stranger just to feel lousy overall. Where is the supposed fun.?

PS: Look at all of the healthy, happy priests, nuns, monks, etc. (Please. No stereotypical comments about pedophile priests. This is neither the time nor the place.)Health Question & Answer

i doubt being on celibacy can make you unhealthy. for some it's not a need. but you might wanna try exercising. somehow i find both activities rather similar in their effects! at least for me. Health Question & Answer

Oh please. Not having sex shows you have self control and are decent. Jumping on every tom dick and harrys lap shows you're a easy tramp bound to get herpes or hiv.. now I don't think thats too healthy do youHealth Question & Answer

I agree. Wanna feck.?
