Why do I cry so much? ?!
Question: Why do I cry so much.? .?
I can tear up at anything. I cry at EVERY emotion. I cry when I'm happy. I cry when I'm proud. Of course I really cry when I'm actually sad. I cry when I'm mad. I have always been what I call "overly sensitive" but recently it's been really bad.
Example: I teared up this morning watching peaceful protesters holding up Obama signs while taking my son to school. I was so proud at the moment that today is election day that I actually cried. I don't understand it.
Sometimes I just tear up. Like when reading a sad email, which I don't do at work anymore at all. I cry when my son brings home good grades or gets recognized for good behavior.
I should also note that I have some other health (female) problems but I've had a total hormonal work-up done and everything was normal. also, I have an auto-immune disease called Behcet's Syndrome, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.
I have had a pretty rough life and have overcome quite a few hurdles, I am in a good place now in my life but I cry all the time... any ideas.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

It could be a chemical or hormonal imbalance. If your really concerned make a Dr. appointment and talk it over. It might be something as simple as stress, overly tired etc. My prayers are with you.Health Question & Answer
It could be depression. It is a lot more common than you might think. And you don't have to be severely depressed to get help.
