Endometriosis question? Please help!?!

Question: Endometriosis question.? Please help!.?
I started on Birth control in August for my Endo, and for cysts. Ever since I have been on the Pill (Sprintec) I have been bleeding a clear/ dark brown mixture every so often. Is this normal.? I mean is it old blood or scar tissue or is it something I should worry about.? It's not really heavy or anything, it's just brown and clear liquid, kind of thick. also my boobs are getting bigger by the second.I know way too much info, but I don't have health insurance right now and I'm worried that this bleeding could be cancer because everytime I have sex with my husband it hurts really bad and then the bleeding starts. Please help.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
as i was reading your question, i thought that the brown blood/clear mixture was just breakthrough bleeding, and seeing as it's brown, i dont think you have as much to worry about as if it were red. because brown indicates old blood.
boobs getting bigger is normal when you take the birth control pills, because of the estrogen in them, when i say getting bigger, i mean going up a cup size sometimes.
however, i dont think its normal that it hurts a lot when you have sex, and then you bleed somemore, i think that you should go to your doctors, after all health is not something to gamble on, and as you know, the sooner you go, the sooner you can get treated if there is a problem and in cancer the earlier the treatment the better.

how long ago did you have the cancer, and what were your symptoms.?
i really hope it's due to the pills, and in any case, maybe you could ask for lower dose estrogen pills, as many reproductive organ cancers are encouraged by estrogen. you can get progesterone only pills too.
good luck with everything,

oh,and you know what, a few years ago i had bleeding when i went to the toilet, and when i had sex and had a bath, and it smelled so bad, and it was watery blood. i thought that maybe it was an std, or cancer, so i went to the doctors a couple of days later, and she did and examination and guess what i had forgotten to take out a tampon from my last menstrual period, which by that time was about 2 weeks earlier. doh! i could have had toxic shock syndrome or an infection from that, but luckily i didnt and just took antibiotics just in case.

good luck!Health Question & Answer
