Question: Sharp Finger pain.?...Can't move finger.?.....?
Ok so my mom got this sharp pain on her thumb...it hurts her so much that she can't even move her thumb at all...She said she can feel the pain on her nail finger nail too and that the her thumb is swelling up a bit....
have you experienced something like this.?
what was it.?.?....
i'm thinking it may be arthritis.?....
but idk i may be wrong....shes in her 40's in that helps.Health Question & Answer

I am not a medical doctor nor do I practice medical treatments. I had similar the same problem, it was called trigger finger syndrome. First it was my thumb on both hands, next it was my second to the first finger on both hands and two years ago it happened again only on my left ring finger. Yes I had to have surgery now I am pain free. No medicine. It could also be arthritis, however, your mother should go to her primary doctor for a consultation.

This can definitely be arthritis...yes, it does exist on the thumb. My cousin in his late 30's , male and has arthritis on his thumb. It can go away by going to the doctor and getting some medicine, but I have to be honest, sometimes it doesn't help at all. Hopefully, for it works =)Health Question & Answer
