I've recently been diagnosed with a yeast infection. I got the meds, it hurts much less.. but when will it get better.? will it.? The question seems dumb, but I'm so scared it won't get better..

If you have been accurately diagnosed you should be totally cleared up in about 5-7 days. Take your meds as directed. Do NOT skip a day or do anything but what your MD told you. You'll be fine. Check with your physician as what could have caused this and avoid doing it again. Antibiotics and a change in vaginal exposure(powder/ bath soaps) can also cause this. Health Question & Answer
it all depends on what they gave you and how long they said it would take usually all the meds have to be gone and sometimes thats not enough so if it continues after your done the meds see ur doctor get some more. it can take a month before it's goneHealth Question & Answer
