Question: Took the plan b pill.?
I had sex (it was protected, but the condom slipped) and i took the plan b pill 33 hours after that incident. Will it still work.? also, I believe i am ovulating or was ovulating around the time i had sex. will it still prevent pregnacy if i took the plan b pill and was ovulating.?.?.?.?.? i called the hotline, and the women wouldnt answer my questions the way i wanted them answered. she basically avoided answering that one question. also, am i at risk for getting an ectopic pregnancy.?.?.? i am freaking myself out now.

I did and it worked fine.
The package says that you can take Plan B up to 72 hours after the incident, but the chance that it will work goes down significantly the longer you wait. The average effectiveness is about 89%.
Even if you get pregnant, I doubt you'll have an ectopic pregnancy. Those are pretty rare.Health Question & Answer
