Mood changes during my period?!

Is it normal.? One minute I'm happy another minute later I'm really frustrated and i don't know what I'm frustrated with. I just get mad for no reason It's like i want to start an argument with my friends or family but i try to hold it in. I get mad at them for nothing just the simple things! Usually I'm not like that. Like my mom got me the wrong drink and i got so mad but i didn't show it but i wanted to argue with someone really bad. Then another time I'm just SO depressed for no reason! I just sit there and cry for nothing and I don't know why. I feel so weird. Lately I've been sad/mad/happy. Like i get pissed off easily when I have my period. Is this normal.? should i be worried.?
