Oily skin is messing with my life!?!

Question: Oily skin is messing with my life!.?
Please help.
My skin has always been oily, but lately it's been SUPER bad. Like, I wash my face and LITERALLY 10 minutes later it's oily again. I am breaking out EVERYWHERE and it's REAAALLLYYY frustrating.

I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried the blotting sheets, lotion that treats oily skin, facial scrubs, washes, toners...physicians formula makeup, oil free everything! I've tried literally every product that claims to help minimize oil and shine. NOTHING will help. I'm breaking out more and more and it's really interfering with my self esteem. I hate it!

I don't know what to do anymore. I get like a new zit on my face everyday!!!

Today I went to class with NO ZITS ON MY FACE and when I got home there were 2 on my chin!!

How the hell does that happen.? That quick.? Could it be stress.? Cause I've been really stressed lately. Are there any foods I can eat.? Pills, anything!!!.?.? Besides going to the dermatologist.? I drink plenty of water....that won't help either.

Please help me I'm extremely desperate!

Stress can definitely trigger a breakout. But for me it's just this time of year (as I live in Southern Ontario, Canada) and the furnaces are going on so all of the buildings that I'm in have really dry air... my skin cracks and gets really oily and zitty. I don't know what to do... but last winter when I was on the birth control pill it wasn't nearly as bad as this year (when I'm not on the pill). So, I guess birth control pills help.Health Question & Answer

An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details on oily skin log on to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/

omg! i have this and i love it!!!!Health Question & Answer

Stick with the basics: cleanse your face two or three times a day with good old soap and water. Pack a premoistened cleansing pad if you won't be around a water basin throughout the day.
Understand that dermatologists and aestheticians often disagree on which types of soaps or cleansers to use'but all agree that once you find a product that works well for your skin, you should continue using it. Follow the recommendations of dermatologists and shower or bathe in tepid rather than steaming-hot water. Hot water can strip your skin of needed moisture, while cold water can shock your skin. Avoid using cleansers that tend to overdry skin. This paradoxically causes your skin to produce even more oil than usual.
Use only noncomedogenic moisturizers and sunscreen products'this means they're oil-free and won't clog pores.
Talk to your dermatologist about a class of drugs called retinoids, which reduce production in oil glands and shrink their size.
Keep in mind that oil glands are very sensitive'stimuli such as hormones, heat and (some say) fatty food can trigger them.
Remember that your efforts to keep your oily skin clear can only go so far, as some studies indicate that oily skin is hereditary.
Another good rule of thumb is always use professional products rather than over the counter most of them tend to have more water in them and help those glands produce more water thus making you oily. Professional products would be like dermalogica or any producr not sold in shopping stores or on tv. Good luck to you.Health Question & Answer
