Females please answer about periods...?!

Question: Females please answer about periods....?
I started my period today, and it is really heavy, and everytime I go to the bathroom, its really heavy and I pee out blood.? Is this normal.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
That's perfectly normally. When i started my period for the first time it was heavy like that. If it continues to be really heavy i would ask your mom about birth control, it can lighten it up and regulate it. And your not really urinating blood, its just some menstrual blood coming out when you go to the bathroom. Its totally normal girl! :D
Oh and if you wear tampons, i would also wear a pad or a pantie liner so you don't ruin your underwear!

It it very normal to have irregular periods when you first start your periods. They usually adjust with time. If they persistently are irregular or painfull then you should consider the birth control pill.Health Question & Answer
