Question: I need to stop my periods.?
I'm going to Peru soon on a school expedition for 1 month and the last thing I want while I'm there is my periods! So I want to stop them until I get back to England. I want something that doesn't involve dayly tablets like the Pill though, so maybe an injection.? Does anyone know one that stops periods for 2-3 months.? Thanks :)Health Question & Answer

Get yourself the depo provera shot and that should stop your period for a few months. Some women however, do have break through bleeding with it though. Ask your doctor about your options.Health Question & Answer

Why would you want to mess your cycle up like this.?
Going on any sort of birth control shot or pill at this time is no guarantee of a stopped period. A large majority of people actually have continued spotting and irregular, heavy, frequent periods after starting some sort of birth control.
You can either deal with having a period once ever month, or take your chances and mess your cycle up and wind up continuously bleeding for 2 months straight.Health Question & Answer
