and while I'm at it what is meant by a bikini line.? How do you get rid of hair down there.? can you do a brazillian yourself or can you only get it done professionally.? is it ok to shave.? is it painful.?

yes you can shave down there, and you can shave as much or as little as you like, just be ultra careful - remember that is an extremely sharp blade you have near your privates. The only issue with this can be ingrown hairs in your pubic area (very unattractive) Other options are waxing and hair removal creams. Generally much nicer and cleaner to do. A bikini line wax takes care of any hair that shows outside your knickers, you can also get a g string wax, that takes care of all hair showing outside of your g string. Then a brazillian takes care of everything, from the top, right around to your buttthole. You can try to do this yourself, but it is not recommended. Its a very sensitive area and hard to see and hard to reach, better off getting a professional to do it.

It doesn't hurt to shave (and it's not a health risk either) but it can become itchy or break out with red bumps. The best way to combat this is to buy a topical product (I use Bikini Zone and it works great) and keep the area clean and dry.

I usually end up with 'razor burn' (red bumbs like a rash) and ingrown hairs if I shave, so I use hair removal creams instead. They make ones specially for the bikini line, since the hair is thicker and coarser down there than on your legs. It also does not itch as much when growing back as it does with shaving.
