Question: High dose of BC Pills as Emergency Contraceptive.? Plan B.?
I have heard that because Plan B is basically a higher dose of the Birth Control Pill, the same effect can be had by taking a certain number of Birth Control Pills.

Yes, I have heard it too. I have been told that you take 5 active pills to equal a plan B pill......I'm not positive though. And yes it will make you very sick to your stomach!Health Question & Answer
You cannot make the effect of birth control pills higher by taking more. If you take them properly, and use other forms of protection the first month of taking them (it should take a month to completely work) and take them every day, then they should be about 99% affective.
