If you can handle the pain, I recommend waxing it. It takes a little bit of getting used to but it's a lot better than shaving in my opinion. Sometimes when you shave you can get razor bumps and those just aren't very attractive. Plus when you wax, you don't have to do it as often as shaving. I do, but usually not trying to be sexy, but mostly out of comfort. I find that if I let things grow too long, my underwear and stuff pulls at it and it starts to pinch or hurt.
