Question: Has anyone had a weird trip to the gynecologist like this.?
My daughter had her first trip to the ob-yn and came home upset. The doctor said he was checking the anal-vaginal 'wall'.? as she described it I have never heard of such a thing, but tried to get her to blow it off as the whole experience was not comfortable for her.
Any thoughts on this as a 'new procedure.?

If you mean he put his finger up her butt, then no, I have never had that done, but it doesn't seem too odd, although he should ask her before doing that, as it doesn't have anything to do with female reproductive organs.

As a young girl, I was very uncomfortable and nervous about the GYN exam, and I think it is for most. I have had the same procedure done, which I am pretty sure is a check for any poleps or growths in the colon area. Health Question & Answer
