I just had my flu jab about 2 days ago and since then my arm hurts so much where they did it =(
It feels like someone is pressing on a bruise on my arm but there is no mark on my arm and the pain is constantly there why is it doing this.?.?Health Question & Answer

This is totally normal. When you got the flu shot it goes into your muscle so it causes a bruise. You can rub the area that hurts so you don't get a knot/lump there or if its really painful, try putting some heat on it to relax your muscle some. It'll go away in a few days. The flu jab should be given either by intramuscular injection into the Deltoid muscle or by deep subcutaneous injection into the tissue above(over) the deltoid muscle.

If yours was given too far down the upper arm ,as was mine recently you will probably have a very sore and stinging lump at the injection site and an inflamed area surrounding it.

It will still be effective and the reaction will die down .
You could try applying heat in the form of a hot water bottle.
