Depends on the person. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. Take a motrin(not a tylenol) about a half hour before you actually get waxed. This cuts down on pain and swelling. also, call the salon and ask if they use any kind of soothing oil, cream, or spray post-wax. If they dont, i suggest you bring your own. It can be painful if the hair is not cut down first. Just make shure that they trim you first and then as soon as they pull the strip off they should press the area and you should feel nothing. Have you ever waxed your legs before.? It's pretty much the same amount of pain. As long as you get it done by a professional the amount of pain should be tolerable.
