What is your 'cycle' like on the combined oral contraceptive pill?!

Question: What is your 'cycle' like on the combined oral contraceptive pill.?
For those who take the combined pill. During the 21 days of pill taking do you get any discernible cycles as such.? like PMT.? phases in greasy or non greasy hair and skin.? Ovulation symptoms.? that kind of thing.?

Mine feel like normal natural cycles. i get this cervical mucous on day 14 and spotting as though i'm ovulating. At the end of the pack around day 20 i start getting cramps and sore boobs.

I was under the impression that the steady level or hormones should stop all this.

what are other people's experiences (i use Marvelon)Health Question & Answer

How long have you been on the pill because it usually takes to the end of the 3rd pack to regulate everything and of course some things can throw it off. It does sounf like the mucous is from ovulation it is usually 11-14 days from the beggining of your last period but of course not the same for everyone. Different kinds of pills or brands I guess I should say can cause differebt things theres some that help you not gain wait, some that help with acne, some that regulate.
Best to do is talk to your doctor let them know whats going on and they may change your pills.
Good luck - my pills gave me more migraines before i changed themHealth Question & Answer

..ew cut a long story short. Get the Depo jag. It lasts much longer. and most GPS will make sure you get a new jag booked before the old one runs out *Usually 2 weeks before. they last 17 weeks. In the majority cases they can stop your period altogether as a bonus. :)Health Question & Answer
