for the last week, i have had SEVERE itchiness and pain "down there".
It really hurts, like an itch that doesnt go away even after you scratch it. It's like it's inside me and it is sooooo sore!!

Probably is thrush. Have you taken any antibiotics lately.? They can cause thrush (they kill the good bacteria as well as the bad ones). You can buy creams etc. for thrush over the counter at the pharmacy. Thrush can also develop in hot humid weather.Health Question & Answer
Go to your doc and find out what it is, treating it as a yeast infection when it is not one, can cause real problems. If it does turn out to be yeast, the best treatment is with Boric Acid capsules. Have your doc do up a prescription for the 00 capsules for 14 days. Insert nightly for the 14 days, or for 7 if it is a lesser infection. You can also use them as a preventative if you are prone to getting them during certain times in your cycle, just use 1 a week at night inserted vaginally.Health Question & Answer
Go to the drugstore and buy a test to se if you have a yeast infection.if you do then you can pick up some medicine for that too while you're there.
