Sounds like it's coming soon.

Welcome to HELL. There's not one positive thing I can say about having a period.Health Question & Answer

I think you will be getting it soon. I know what you mean, I hate being a girl and having to go through all this. ugh. Get ready for it. Pack some pads in your backpack or put one in your pocket. Wear pantiliners, that will help just in case you do get it and you don't know. Just be ready for it. You can bring tampons too, but if you're getting your first period, it's easier to do pads.
You might want to start wearing bras, esp. if they get bigger, if you don't wear a bra then, it just starts to look bad. Health Question & Answer

I could come within the next couple of weeks.
But don't worry about it because it will start off really light.

-Always keep a few small and normal pads in a small bag or purse in your school bag, also put a clean pair of panties in there.
-At home, in a bathroom were you are comfortable practice putting pads in your pants and get used to wearing them, also make sure you know how to put them on and stuff.
-When you first start make sure you tell your mum and your close friends, it always helps when your friends know about it.
-also when you start you may feel you want to start wearing a bra, so go with you best friend on a shopping trip and then get her to help you choose a nice one and try on a few different sizes so you get the right size.

I hope this helped x :)Health Question & Answer

You might get it soon or, if you're like me, it could take for.ever.
I was a late late late period-er and was actually excited when I got it!
Then the cramps and pains and stomach aches dawned on me..
Just carry some pads around with you and wear pantyliners just in case.
And don't worry!
It's a natural process which every woman goes through and eventually you'll get comfortable with it so you might feel a tad embarrassed and paranoid at first but after a while its pretty much just:
"Ahh....that again."

I hope you feel better and it comes for you soon (Y).Health Question & Answer

you may want to bring a pad with u incase u start at school. just stick it in an envelope and seal it. put it in your backpack/locker, then if it falls out noone will see it. if they ask just say its lunch money or something.

if you don't wear a bra, and you are getting bigger, then it may be embarrassing later on. if you want to, try a sports bra that won't show under clothes, but if you are getting bigger will make it more comfortable. just a suggestion.

good luck!Health Question & Answer

You should really start wearing a bra. Your a girl, and there's nothing you can do about it (unless you want to get a sex change). Yes, you will get your period soon, and that's a girl thing too, but you can't help it. Wear a bra, dear. It's necessary.Health Question & Answer

Maybe you hate being called a girl, but you have to accept that you are one.
And not wearing a bra won't keep you from turning into one.

A bra would be a lot more comfortable, and look better.
As for the period - just be ready with pads in your backpack.Health Question & Answer

only time will tell. You should think about carrying a lite day pad ( there smaller and discreet) in you backpack. This way you will not be caught off guard. It sounds like your body is ready. And not wearing a bra won't make you any less of a girl, it'll just make you breast feel more comfortable and keep them in place. Health Question & Answer

c) youre fine. i didnt get mine til i was 14.Health Question & Answer

You probably will start soon. I would recommend carrying pads with you in your backpack. But most girls first periods are really light and brown, so I doubt you will have a major problem when you first start! Good luck :)Health Question & Answer

Ya, you will probably be getting it soon, so make sure you are prepared for it if you get it in school.Health Question & Answer
