Question: For the past 3 or 4 weeks it really hurts down there and it hurts when i pee...but idk why because i havent.?
had sex in about 5 months. The only time I ever have was with a boyfriend a few times and I know it was his first time too so it's not like I could have any STDs right.? I don't know why this is happening but it's kind of uncomfortable. Any suggestions on what to do.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Go to the doctor.

It sounds like you may have an infection. Only a doctor can tell you what kind and the best treatment. You don't have to have sex to get a bladder, bacterial, or yeast infection. Don't suffer. Not getting treatment just makes you miserabe, and it may make the infection worse.

EDIT: Drinking cranberry juice will only help prevent an UTI. Only antibiotics will clear it up once you got one. Trust me. I ended up in the hospital with a kidney infection once from trying to clear up a UTI with cranberry juice.Health Question & Answer

u may have a uti urinary tract infection. it will only get worse you need to see a dr. a friends mom just went thru it and it can lead to other things. you will need to get an antibiotic prescribed from your dr. women get them so it is a natural thing.. this is going to sound real weird i know as i was shocked when my dr told me. apply PLAIN yogurt to your private area and it will relieve the burn and help with the infection. but you need to see a dr and get antibiotics. do not worry it is more than likely from a natural thing women get and not anything to do with sex. good luck.Health Question & Answer

Sounds like a UTI to me. You are better off going to your doctor or gynecologist then doing a home remedy ALONE. It would help though if you started drinking cranberry juice (not cocktail or anything else).Stay off the sodas!! Health Question & Answer

It could be an Urinary Tract Infection.

Drink 100% cranberry juice to clear up a UTI.
