Question: Any postmenopausal women out there suffering from:.?
vaginal itching and extreme irritation. I am going crazy. Do I need a estrogen creme.? I am not sexually active, and have not had a hysterectomy. Have not had a period for seven years. If anyone has this can you please tell me what cured it.? I can't go on like this. It's 3:30 a.m.

I'm going through the same thing!! I talked to my Dr. and he prescribed me Premarin vaginal cream. You inject it @ night before bed and I will tell you from personal experience, it helps so much! There are also some wipes at the drugstore from Monistat, I think, called "Cool Wipes" that I have used for immediate relief of external itching and irritation.
