It depends how long you are on the pill for. If you are on the 30 (I think tahst what its called) as soon as you go off the pill, your periods will be just as heavy, maybe worse. If you take a trifasic pill, then you can't skip periods but they are so much lighter and go for less days. Health Question & Answer
depends on what pill you take but yes it would, or the contraceptive implant that goes in your arm for like 3years i had that and didn't have them at all for the time it was in, which was great 100% protected from getting pregnant and didn't have to worry about taking a pill everyday

You probably will not lose your period all together and chances are that they will be lighter after a couple of months on the pill. However, they will return to their heavy selves when you stop taking the pill. Sorry.....Health Question & Answer
