My friend has bulemia, what should i do?!

Question: My friend has bulemia, what should i do.?
well i know a friend and she has alot of self esteem issues and we both went on a diet to lose weight and then i noticed after about a few weeks she was losing far to much weight( well it was more than a couple of weeks) and she was starting to look really ill, then i went to the toilet and i heard her purge(make herself sick) i knew that sound becuase i had recovered from bulemia 3 years before and i told her off and told her my horror story about how i was in a hospital bed nearly dead and she was like at least your naturally skinny and i was like you have to tell your mum, and she was like no and if you tell anyone i will kill my self and i mean it, i really dont know what to do,

I also lost a friend to anerexia a year ago, but i didnt know she was anerexic, i just thought she didnt like to eat in front of people,

I really want to help my current friend but i really dont know what to do, i dont want to see her die..

x

write an anonymous letter to her parents.. use runner gloves so they can not trace fingerprints... if you have the heart, go to her house when she isnt home and sit down and speak with her parents face to face.. time is crucial as she is destroying her teeth, mouth, stomach, esofagus and reproductive organs... good luck babe... oh and before you go to the parents, see if she is willing to come out and talk to them and get help... like that dr drew comercial she is screaming for help but you just cant hear it... listen to her scream.. good luck babyHealth Question & Answer

She needs help and support. Because of the threat she made, you need to be really careful about the way you do it, but someone has to know. Someone needs to help her. You especially need to be there for her, as a friend to support her, and as someone who knows what she's going through. Good luck, I hope everything turns out alright.Health Question & Answer

Talk to her Mum.
You don't have any other choice.
Maybe go over there and talk to her mum when you're friend isnt home.?
It might make it easier.
And just keep an eye on your friend and just be there for her.
Goodluck.
All the best.

You should know how bad doing that is.
You should probably tell her parents, and try to help her.

Her parents are the best people to know she has this problem.

Its tough, i think its more of the psychological effect than the physical effect, tell your friend to see a doctor who can help her with this, this can kill her if she don't treat it immediately, you cant do anything about her being sick just support her emotionally and be with her to have someone who can understand her since your into diet too. my piece of advice is for you to see a doctor first before going to any form of diet, skipping meals is bad since every time you skip meals one nerve from your brain is also dying.
Hope that your friend will be ok.. God bless!Health Question & Answer

You should encourage her to talk to a professional! I know you love your friend, but it is very emotionally draining on you if a friend has an eating disorder. Always remind her that you are there, but her eating disorder can effect you and other friends. You maybe should tell her parents. If you feel this betraying her trust, then you can anonymously talk to the school councillor about it.

If she comes over to your hose regularly, then you should "monitor" what she does after meals. An intervention might also be an option. Eating disorders are difficult to deal with. Just always remind her that you are there and see a professional about it. Health Question & Answer
