Question: My mom doesn't want me using tampons - where should I go to buy my own.?
I can't drive on my own for a few months, so the store isn't really an option. I'll occasionally borrow from friends, but I don't want to keep asking.
Don't bother telling me to talk to her, I've already had the 'tampon talk' and she told me that she wants me to start when I'm older. I really don't know why this is, but I can't respect it because I think it should be my own choice.
So, until I can drive, what about those little things in public bathrooms, where you stick in a quarter and get a tampon.? We don't have any at school, so where else are they.?

Restaurant restrooms should have them. Even McDonald's might.
Your mother probably doesn't want you to use them because of the whole "tampon/virginity" thing. Mine was the same. I told her it was my choice and bought them anyway. She didn't need to look in my medical cabinet and she never said anything to me again about it.Health Question & Answer

fast food restaurants, usually any big well know place with a bathroom, will have a tampon machine. If you have a corner store near you they proably sell them. If your willing to walk to the store to go buy your own you could do that.Health Question & Answer
