You probably have a urinary tract infection. The best treatment is antibiotics from your doctor. If left untreated, it can cause a bladder or kidney infection which can be serious. Until you can see the doctor, there is an otc medicine called AZO that helps with the burning and pain. also, drink cranberry juice or take cranberry supplement pills. If it gets really bad over the weekend, see your local clinic or the ER.

If it continues to hurt then I would make a trip to the ER, but if you think it can wait to see the doc then I would wait, because ER's tend to take forever to get lab results back. It is probably a UTI. Those things SUCK as they can hurt like heck and the annoying part don't help either
