safer.?.?.? what do you mean by that.?.?.? pads carry les risk of getting toxic shock syndrome but pds can cause a yeast infection! As long as your hygene is god and you wash down there 1 - 2 times a day well with a soap designed for that area ( not normal soap it will sting and will nset the pH) both are as good. I prefer tampons at night and whilst doing sport or long car journeys as i feel cleaner but pads are good for everday use. Pads. Tampons can actually cause poisoning if not changed often enough and can become lodged inside of you.

Pads are safer because if you leave tampons in longer than 8 hours you can get toxic-shock syndrome which can cause death!
