It didn't hurt for me and I was a virgin. If you're that worried you can always get some water-based lube to use to help it go in but normally the menstrual blood works as lube. Don't forget, NEVER LEAVE ONE IN FOR OVER 6-8 HOURS. Be safe and I'm sure you'll be fine :)Health Question & Answer
i personally started with tampons. a lot of ppl say u should wait but it doesnt matter. personally once i started i used tampons they r easier and not diguisting. also it doesnt feel like ur wearing a diaper. it doesnt hurt at all but i would recommmend plastic applicators maybe playtex gentle glide. also playtex sports.Health Question & Answer
Yeah it'll be fine :) They don't hurt but they might a bit when you first use one... But they are so much more hygienic than pads.. Make sure you read the leaflet information enclosed in the box and never keep one in for more than 8 hours*. xHealth Question & Answer

No, it won't hurt. Just relax and follow the directions to insert them properly. You can start off with the Tampax Slender if you are concerned.Health Question & Answer
