Many diseases and conditions can cause rectal bleeding. Common causes include anal fissures, hemorrhoids, cancers and polyps of the rectum and colon, diverticulosis, abnormal blood vessels (angiodysplasia), ulcerative colitis, ulcerative proctitis, Crohn's colitis, infectious colitis, ischemic colitis, and Meckel's diverticula.
Or you simply could have had a big BM.

Might be hemroids. Might also be excessive wiping though, which can cause a lot of irritation. Go see the doctor. If it's hemroids you wanna make sure that you get it taken care of.
Try washing your anus, instead of wiping it with toilet tissue. also, if itching starts, try a hydrocortisone ointment which can be very helpful as well.Health Question & Answer

This is called Haemorrhoid.Probably due to enlargement in veins in the anal canal & their rupture.I fresh blood is discharging this could be due to haemorrhoid.Contact a doctor as soon as possible.Don't wait.Health Question & Answer
