ok well i'm 11 and in 6th grade about 5'1 and 95 pounds. and i just want to know when i'm going to get my period. i know that yall may not know but i think that you peoples could try and help plz. i dont have big boobs or anything but really really small ones(like size 32A), i have really small hairs one my arm pits also. i don't have any discharge or anything and my sister started in 7th grade so she was like 12 and i'm going to be 12 in about 4 or 5 days! but idk. plz answer!Health Question & Answer

No one can say exactly when you'll get your first menstrual period, but you will get it some time during puberty. Puberty is the time in your life when you begin to become an adult. Getting your period is not fun! LOL. the longer it is put off the better. It doesnt mean that your not maturing into a woman..it just simply means that you havent got your period yet. Every single person is different so you dont necessarily have to get it when your sister got hers.

Well you have a serious medical condition called periodoclous nutrickly. This is when you are around the same age as you and simply do not have your period yet. Soon, when you turn 12, you will start breaking out in a rash on your armpits. This is when you need to consult your doctor. He/she will help you find a cure!Health Question & Answer

idk but i had c cup boobs, discharge at age 10, horniness, and other crap, but no period until last month!! it sux dont be too anxious bout it lol

You will start soon enough, don't be in any hurry. It has to do with hormones so there is no way you can make it come until it is ready. Everyone starts at a different age. I was 12 when I started, my sister was 16 before she started, my daughter was 10 and my granddaughter was 11 so no one is alike. You will start when it is your time. In the meantime you don't have to worry about stomach cramps from your period, you can wear white without your period starting and messing up your white clothes, you can swim and not have to worry it's the wrong time of the month, you don't have to worry about headaches like phys. ed at school but you have your period and have bad cramps, you don't have to worry about carrying a pad and trying to get to the bathroom to change the one you are wearing. Ask your sister if she is glad to have a period to worry about every month, I'll bet she wishes she hadn't started yet and considers you lucky. Your time will come.Health Question & Answer
