Help, Do I have thrush?!

Question: Help, Do I have thrush.?
I normally always have a little bit of discharge but now there's a lot more (especially first thing in the morning) and it's started to get little flecks in it. It doesn't smell or look any different other than that but it's becoming really itchy. I was thinking thrush but I just had an STI test 2 weeks ago and they tested for thrush in that- everything came back fine. This has happened every month or so since I had a large dose of antibiotics at the start of the year but never as heavy as this. I'm also on the pill if that makes any difference.

To get an appointment with the Dr takes about 3 weeks (plus I really don't like my Dr) so would the GUM clinic at the hospital be able to help as well.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It sounds as if you may have a bit of a yeast infection. You can actually buy yeast infection remedies over the counter at most pharmacies and even some grocery store. Just ask the pharmacist and he/she will be glad to show you your options.
If that does not give you any relief, you had best see your doctor.
Hope it works for you.Health Question & Answer

Yes the GUM clininc at the hospital is good, been there myself many years ago.. it does sound like thrush, antibiotics strip your immune system and tend to make you more susceptible to things like thrush. You can get canestan from a pharmacy, either cream, pessary or tablet form, this will help alot. xHealth Question & Answer
