Question: When do you think my boobs will grow.?
I'm fourteen years old, I have had my period for a year and a half, I'm not tiny, and I am as flat as a pancake. Why is this!.? Why won't they grow.? All of my friends boobs have grown or are growing, and most of them are younger than me! It's really embarrassing actually.
They started to grow in the 5th grade (I got a trainer bra) and then they stopped. I am fourteen now! I do not think that small breasts are in my genes!
I know there is nothing that will make them grow, and plastic surgery= no way! But any advice.? Words of comfort.? Anything.?

Breasts grow when you have enough body fat. You still may be growing. Be patient. It will come. .You're just a little bit of a late bloomer. However, when it does come it will be like overnight.Health Question & Answer
It's okay. It's normal for some people. Obviously your friends are jerks, if they make fun of you, they aren't very good friends. I wouldn't worry about having small breasts really. Don't think of them as small use words like perky and compact.
It is most likely that you will get your breasts as you get older but as someone who has large breasts let me tell you about the downside.
1. They hurt
2. They get in the way
3. You cannot exercise as much because they bounce around and hurt
4. They SAG
5. Boys think they can gawk at you just because your breasts are big
Big breasts are a pain in the bum, if I could swap with you I would.
If you are still feeling a bit down I want you to go to the movie store.
Seriously!!
Go to the new movies and look at the female leads, can you see one with large breasts.? NO! Small breasts are fashionable right now.
Your friends should not be mean to you, I'm sorry they do that. I have not spoken to my school friends in years, horrible bitches.
Finally, the only thing I can think of which might make your breasts small is if you are too thin. Your breasts form from body fat and if you are really thin and athletic that might be reducing them.

Why do you care.? I wanted bigger boobs, but not anymore. I did research and read all the complaints of people with big boobs...how they get negative attention from the WRONG guys, can't wear certain shirts, have trouble finding bras, back problems, and the heavier they are the more gravity affects them, and the list GOES ON! Besides, there is nothing wrong with the way you are...tell your friends/others off, what right do they have to make fun of you over something you can't control and is perfectly normal anyway.? When you focus on the small details of people, you can make ANYONE ugly...so look at the person as a whole/big picture and you'll see, everyone is beautiful. All their quirky little traits add up to one normal person. I'm so lucky to have small boobs and so are you, if they grow they grow and if they don't they don't. Don't stress over something you can't control/change, it's a waste of ur time and bad for ur health. You may just be a late bloomer....like me! All through high school I was never more than a B cup. I was quite active and that probably had something to do with it. I also had no hips! Once I hit college I started getting curves, and fast! The average woman's breasts do not stop growing until they are about 25 years old! No matter what though, your breasts will change through your lifetime. Like I said, when I was 18 I was maybe a B cup. Late bloomer I was though, I am now 21 and a D cup. Just give it time! The bigger they are, they seem to tend to get in the way anyways! I am a police officer and had to pay extra to have a vest made specifically for me with cups in it!
They are nice to have, but there is no reason to worry about it now. It's alright, I was the exact same position. When I was younger they started to grow. Then they stopped and everyone else grew boobs and I was basically as flat as a pancake that just had an anvil land on it. Then when I was about 16 they grew. Make sure that you don't wear a bra to bed ever because that stunts their growth. As for your friends, either laugh it off (which isn't a good idea) or explain that what they are doing is upsetting you and make sure that after that they help stick up for you. also, if they don't grow much bigger, then just so you know. Boobs aren't everything. Boys will still like you because, unless they are complete prats, they are more after a pretty and intelligent girl, not someone who's shallow and ugly with huge boobs.Health Question & Answer
