What is NORMAL psychology compared to ABNORMAL psychology?!

Question: ..and who was arrogant enough or had enough power to set the standard. Where is the line drawn?
Answers:
Abnormal psychology is the branch of psychology that deals with mental disorders. To be considered a mental disorder, something has to be distrubing, maladaptive, atypical, and unjustifiable, so it does vary a little from culture to culture, since what we may consider atypical and disturbing may seem to tribespeople somewhere perfectly normal.

Other Answers:
No one has classified psychology as 'normal psychology' or 'abnormal psychology' you can however classify emotions and behavior as such. Psychology is a discipline that looks into a number of factors such as emotions, behavior, disease and the influence of the society and culture on an individual among others.
The psychologist can label behavior or emotions as normal or abnormal guided by the cultural, ethnical, educational and religious background of an individual or in short the individuals society.
Men have invested alot of time in the study of psychology and to call them 'arrogant' is not quite fair!
