Have you ever experienced a medical miracle?!
Question: Have you ever defied the laws of modern medicine and proven the experts wrong? I know there are some good stories out there. I am interested in knowing what you or someone you love has done or defeated that has left the medical world speechless.
I personally have one..its not as astonishing as some, but doctors once told me that I would not be able to get pregnant without medical assistance.well hubby and I have 2 beautiful boys .and we managed it all by ourselves. Tell me about your miracles..

My daughter was born 13 weeks premature, now I know that premature babies being born and surviving isn't really a medical miracle. But I think it's quite miraculous that she did not require surgery for anything, and has no prematurity issues. She is healthy and beautiful. A little high maintenance but I hear that is not unusual for little girls. And it is kind of a miracle that she even made it to 27 weeks gestation, I had an undiagnosed blood infection that should have caused me to miscarry earlier in the pregnancy but she was obviously meant to be born.

I am a personal trainer who was in an accident, eight years ago, that broke bones on one-half of my body, with neurologic damage on the oppposite side of my body. I was in a coma for months, and had complications from pneumonia and hosptial infections while I was in the coma.
I still recovered enough to become a trainer and help other people working for their best body.
My friend was cured of leukemia by taking mega doses of spirullina. She had 6 months, tops, to live. The doctors are still in disagreements on the course of her actions. She's thoroughly cured. Cancer free for 9 1/2 years now.
My Daughter
She was burned by boiling chili when she was just over a year old.She had deep scars all over her poor little face and neck. As I was scooping off the chili, I also scooped off her skin. It wasn't a pretty sight. I drove her to the hospital (this was on Christmas Eve, btw) and they had her in there for a few hours and we had to come back the next day as well.
We went to a place that specializes in children's burns in Louisville during the next month. We were told she was going to have to wear a facial protection and would have scarring for life..the poor little kiddo.
She wouldn't wear the facial protection.we kept caring for her burns. Over the next months, the scars disappeared.we kept going back to the care facility. The told us after a while that they had NEVER seen this happen that the scars just went away.
She is 7 years old now and the only remains of the happening is a little off colored spot that is hidden behind her ear. She was one lucky, lucky girl.
Still brings tears to my eyes thinking about it.but I consider that a miracle.
Yes I was told without back surgery I would not recover or walk normally again, I had a second opinon from another specialist tell me the same. But I knew it would heal given time, and IT DID,that was over 20 years ago. {the waddling has nothing to do with the injured back, LOL}
They also told me once my youngest daughter might not make it with a brain injury giving her a blood clot on her brain, again I knew she would be allright, I guess we know when to panic eh?

they ex rays showed cancer
then after a lot of prayers
believe it or not.
it has not been seen on any ex-ray or any other test for many years.
they did not know how or what to say how it happened
but i know
