I'm looking for information about NON bipolar logorrhea, how to treat it, recogn!
Question: I read an article years ago in The Oregonian newspaper, I think, about how logorrhea is quite common, not necessarily a symptom of bipolar disorder. The article mentioned how important it is to just flat out INTERRUPT the stream of talk. Also, it recommended flat out talking about it with the person suffering from it. Anyone have more information? I have found NOTHING on the Internet. Thanks

If you are suffering from this you should be seeing a medical professional. Bipolar usually required medication which you need to get from a doctor. How come your doctor is not giving you any information about the logorrhea? Next time you go, make sure you ask for infor about it!
Also, are you sure you are spelling it right? Maybe that's why you can't find any info on it?
If you still can't find the info you're after, go to yahoo groups and find a group for bipolar. I'm sure you would be able to find someone with info on there.
