Does your body ever completely heal after quitting smoking?!

Question: I smoked for about 15 years and am wondering if all the damage cause can be reversed.
Answers:
Yes, it will. In fact, your body starts repairing the damage almost immediately. For example, within 30 minutes of quitting smoking, your pulse rate slows down and your blood pressure drops toward normal. Within hours of stopping, the level of carbon monoxide in your blood drops, enabling the blood to carry more oxygen. Two days after quitting, nerve endings begin to recover and your sense of smell and taste begin to return. Within 72 hours of quitting, the bronchial tubes of your lungs expand and lung volume increases.

Simpe answer..Yes..
Maybe if you quit right now otherwise most of it can stay permanent and stay damaged.
Not really. theerre will still be damged tissues in the lungs and throat , although they heal , scar tissue still persists ( look at the points of old cuts, grazes etc on your body. The smoke does the same sort of thing to your lungs).
Although it cannot be completely reversed, most of the damage will heal. You usually feel better - able to breath better - within a few weeks, but it can take several years for the majority of the damaged to be reversed.
No. It leaves scars, and there are things that can linger in your system many years after you quit.

My parents both have rotten ailments due to smoking.
Yes it will cure to some extend
Five years after you quit, you get to a better level of health, and you get to an even better level of health after you quit for 10 years, etc..I can't remember all of the specifics, but you can get your lungs almost back to how they were before you started smoking if you quit now!
