Not really--our family is really going through some tough times. We're all in school (even mom)--but we are not financially secure at all at this point.
Hopefully, things will be better soon. My brother is working part time, I am looking for a summer job, and mom is trying to find something as well. There are three cars in this family--and all need fairly major repairs.

Yes, I believe that if the good people in the world do their best to make their world better, then things can and will turn out ok. I also believe that people can, to a certain extent, control their destiny. While catastrophes happen, there is still plenty of opportunity even in the darkest of situations if one seeks it. Take Beethoven for example. He was disabled, at the time, his deafness would have met confinement and isolation, but out of his hands came some of the world's most beautiful music. We are like oysters, grains of sand get in and irritate us, but we have the capacity to make them into beautiful pearls.

I can never be entirely secure about the future because I don't know what tommorow brings. I will never be entirely satisfied with my life and things I could do before I die. Thats just a human feeling in my opinion. (Maybe not all people though..)
