Yes. I'd suggest that if you have any worries about being claustrophobic, you ask if you can just lay down in the machine while it's off. I had worries, but they made me take out all of my earrings first(I have 10 and some were the first time I'd taken them out; I couldn't get them all back in myself). I freaked out and couldn't go through with it in the end. It was like a coffin.
If you're not worried about claustrophobia, or you're already having it done in an open MRI machine, you'll be all set.
