What can a 17 yr old female do about losing a chubby belly and thighs, and what!

Each body has its own favorite areas to collect fat and you'll probably find that it's a constant battle in those areas. You'll need to work on losing fat all over with the old standbys, diet and exercise. Do something aerobic to burn calories but also add some resistance training to build muscle. This will help raise your metabolism. Emphasize vegetables, fruit, whole grains and lean protein in your diet. Try to avoid empty refined carbohydrates -- white bread, cookies, bagels, cake, candy. But also realize that you are becoming a woman and you should have some curves, so don't worry if you don't look like a preteen anymore. You want to be fit, not necessarily flat.

Core exercises and light (starting off) cardiovascular workouts along with a good diet (pay attention to the food pyramid).
Eat lots and lots of fruits and vegetables. It ain't fun either but once you adjust to it, you'll be fine. Avoid fatty foods like meat and anything fried. The closer to what God made is the better it is for you! If you look on the package and it contains tons of ingredients, stay away from it! The less ingredients the better for you. Eat alot of salads with vinaigrette dressings, that's how i did it. You'll get used to it but do not make the mistake of starving because once you starve your body will go into fat reserve mode and hang on to the fat for longer periods of time. It is not good for your metabolism. Well, good luck and stick to it no matter how hard you may think it is.
A chubby belly= do 50 crunches two times a day to get flatter abs!
Thighs- do sideways step-ups, that is, stand with your right foot next to a step and face forward. Then left your left foot onto the step while facing forward and lift your body up again. Then take it down again. Do 30 of these a day for each leg! Or you can do a lot of biking to firm your thighs.

Avoid salty foods and candy for a chubby belly- they make it bloat up. Also avoid saturated fats and sodium. Go for Omega-3 fats which can be found in avocado and olive oil and fish!
Take note of foods that bother you, other than weight gain. For me is white flour. Within minutes of eating something made with flour I can feel my stomach becoming uncomfortable. That tells me that it is not good for me and could also cause weight gain
Do some sit-ups. But not a whole bunch at once. Maybe like 5 sets of 10, slow and steady, every day or every other day so say bye-bye to the belly. As for thighs, well, that takes longer. I would suggest walking around or if you have access to a treadmill, use that. Avoid ice cream, cookies, junk foods, and fast food. Awesome food for you: Yogurt (if normal yogurt is gross to you too, try Yoplait's Whips. Yum!), granola, vegetables, fruits, or other vitamin-enriched foods like tofu.
Good luck!
Avoid fats and sugar, and you'll be good.
