if you share eye makeup or any makeup in general, will you get eye infections of!

Question: ?
Answers:
You CERTAINLY can pass bacteria from eye makeup, brushes, etc. I would NOT share my eye makeup with anyone.

Have you ever had pink eye? I did - It was the most HORRIBLE, PAINFUL experience of my life! (And I've had 2 kids!) I did not catch it from sharing makeup, but if you happen to use a brush from someone who has pink eye, LOOK OUT!

Other Answers:
You might if the person you're sharing with has a serious eye infection; but you probably won't
Yes you can. Also don't use old make up either around your eye area.
i would not share my mascara with any one else as the bush makes contact with the fluids from your eyes i believe that could get pink eye from this and it is very painful
I think that you would certainly have a good chance of getting eye infections. Best not to share.
only if the person has pink eye
yes, but it depends on the person
well what i have seen yes two weeks ago my friend shared eyeliner with me then i got an infection then i past on to my other friend so if i was you i would't share eyeliner i don't know about other kind o make-up
You might. I suggest you dont because infection is usually transmited through your eyes or mouth. So if your friend is sick, coughs, touches your makeup, then you put it on your eyes does lead to problems.

Not necessarily, but it is highly recommended never to share eye makeup, for just that reason. Like sharing combs, wearing others' hats, etc have always been no-no's. But I will admit, most of the risk would be in certain circumstances. Like if we're talking about your best friend, and you know darn well she doesn't have pink eye or head lice, well gee.

But, like just randomly passing stuff around in a school restroom or something, well, you get the idea. Just common sense.
yep, especially if they have pink eye or recently had it, or even herpes can be in the eye! be careful with that
yes u can. its not like eye shadows but mascara and eye liners yes u can.
If the person who is lending it to you has an eye infection, well maybe.
You should never share mascara or lipstick or any makeup that is applied with the same dispenser that another person uses. Yes you can get eye infections, cold sores and other goodies. In fact it not even a good idea to try the displays at stores. I do not even allow my two teens to share.
Yes You can.
Does not matter if it's your Moms or other family members or a friends Its always safer to use your own.
Think of it as a toothbrush.
ok..so being a Brit..what on earth is Pink Eye??
It is not a good idea to share applicators but the make-up is fine, if you share make up keep q-tips are new applicators around to apply the make-up
I know that someone got a bad infection because she used heavy eye makeup without removing it everytime. She also used those "extreme" mascaras that are supposed to lengthen your lashes like crazy. I think those are the main reasons why she got the infection.

If you share make up, you can only get an infection if the person has a contagious infection.
YOU CAN IT BETTER TO HAVE YOUR OWN BRUSHES AND ESPECIALLY MASCARA
yes really nasty ones. dont share eye make up. There are fungal infections that can be passed on from mascara, you can also pass on herpes. Dont ever share make up!
