It could be a sign of Diabetes or Acid-Reflux. It's a symptom of both to have a constant "sweet" taste in your mouth. I'd go and get tested for both.
I've had Acid Reflux (H Pylori) before. And my uncle has Diabetes.

floss more. when starchy things like bread get stuck between your teeth, your saliva starts digesting them in your mouth. starches are turned into sugars. if this goes on it may rot your teeth.
