Whats the best over the counter item for sinius dranage and congestion.?!

Question: hacking up spit at night and morning..can lead to sinius infection.need something to dry it up without amoxiclin.
Answers:
It's unlikely that chest congestion will lead to a sinus (not "sinius") infection. It usually works the other way - gravity, y'know. :)

Drying congestion is the "quick fix", not the cure, and OTC products can actually make colds worse. Doctors don't even know what's in some of those.

If you can tolerate spicy food, most hot peppers have the ability to thin mucus and help your sinuses and lungs clear up. -Fresh- horseradish works to clear sinuses.

As counterintuitive as it sounds - to clear out and dry your lungs, drink plenty of water. It helps to keep the mucus thin and flowing. This is advised whether you're taking an expectorant such as guaifenesin or not.

Amoxicillin (not "amoxiclin") is an antibiotic, not a medication for congestion.

Other Answers:
Sudafed PE should work. It's an OTC medicine.
